There are eyes everywhere. No blind spot left.
What shall we dream of when everything becomes visible?
We’ll dream of being blind.

Between Here & There is a collection of vernacular photographs of the suburb I currently live in. Through a mix of ritual snapshots and keen awareness, this project seeks to catalogue and document the places and things that usually go unnoticed – places and things that occupy the marginal spaces and transitional zones invisible to most of us.
The work aims to deconstruct traditional perceptions of the suburban landscape, using ambiguity to create a visual narrative that pairs charged perceptions of the suburban landscape with ordinary scenes of everyday life. The work observes how our connection to the everyday – whether mild, moderate, severe or profound – can influence the way we see the world.
